Lithium battery fire at trucking depot

TOWN OF MONTGOMERY – A fire in a trailer at the FedEx Freight facility on Neelytown Road in the Town of Montgomery early Thursday involved a cargo container with lithium ion batteries.
Orange County Fire Coordinator Vini Tankasali said Maybrook firefighters and county haz-mat personnel responded to the scene. There was fire, but no explosion, he said.
No injuries were reported.
