NAPANOCH – The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the stabbing of two people and injury to another in the Jenny Brook Mobile Home Park in the Town of Wawarsing.
Police were called to the scene around 5:25 p.m. on Monday where they encountered a large group of people arguing and three injured victims. Two had been stabbed and a third person was treated at the scene. The stabbing victims were transported to Ellenville Regional Hospital by Ellenville Rescue.
One person fled the scene and was found in a wooded area nearby with the aid of a sheriff’s office K-9 team. Several others were detained.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
Detectives were assisted by state troopers from the Ellenville barracks.
