Armed robbery at convenience store

PEARL RIVER – Orangetown Police are investigating the late night Friday armed robbery of the 7-11 store on North Middletown Road in Pearl River.
At about 10:45 p.m., a man entered the store armed with a gun and ordered the clerk to remove the cash from two registered. An unknown amount of money was taken before the robber fled.
The investigation is ongoing.  Orangetown detectives are asking anyone who might have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to call them at 845-359-2121.
