LAKE KATRINE – A Kingston man was arrested by Town of Ulster Police on Thursday afternoon, September 13 on charges of assault, sexual misconduct, unlawful imprisonment and criminal obstructing of breathing.
The arrest of Evan Niekamp, 26, stemmed from a domestic incident in which he allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse without the victim’s consent, restricted her means of leaving the residence and assaulted her causing injuries. Niekamp was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
