POUGHKEEPSIE – New York State Crime Stoppers is offering a reward
of up to $2,500 for information that will lead to the location, arrest
and conviction of Robert Whitaker, who is wanted in a Poughkeepsie murder.
Whitaker, 38, has been indicted by a Dutchess County grand jury on a murder
charge and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On January 27, Noel McClinton was shot several times in front of the Fireman’s
Exempt Club at 200 Mansion Street in the City of Poughkeepsie.
Anyone with information regarding Whitaker’s whereabouts is asked
to call New York State Crime Stoppers at 866-313-TIPS (8477). Callers
can remain anonymous and there is no caller ID on the crime stoppers hotline
phones.
