NYC teens arrested with stolen car after short Columbia County pursuit

LIVINGSTON – State Police arrested two Brooklyn teens following a brief car chase that ended on Sunday when they crashed into a guard rail on Route 82 in the Town of Livingston.
Alicides Czetto, 18, and Quansae Herring, 16, were arrested after they fled on foot. The Honda Civic they were in had been stolen in New York City.
Both youths were charged with criminal possession of stolen property as a felony. Herring, who was driving, was also charged with unlawful fleeing of a police officer in a motor vehicle and reckless endangerment. Both were sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
