WAPPINGER – The temperature was unseasonably chilly and the skies were overcast, but that didn’t dampen enthusiasm for a parade.
Hundreds lined the roads as the 43rd Town of Wappinger Community Day Parade was held on Sunday.
Participants of all ages participated from firefighters with their emergency vehicles, to boy scouts, and yes, even politicians, given the time of year.
The crowds cheered enthusiastically as the parade passed by.
