SAUGERTIES – A 22-year-old
Saugerties man has been arrested for allegedly entering his ex-girlfriend’s
residence at 244 Main Street in Saugerties and subjecting her to physical
contact.
Jairo Gonzalez-Palma had been involved in a prior incident in which the
court issued an order of protection on behalf of the victim against Gonzalez-Palma.
When police were called to his former girlfriend’s home, they charged
him with criminal contempt and criminal trespass and he was committed
to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
