NEWBURGH – Almost 400 freshmen and 100 transfer students moved in to Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh on Sunday. The students come from as far away as California.
College President Dr. Jason Adsit and his family helped the students move into their residence halls. “We want the students to know that the Mount is a close, caring community right from the first day they arrive,” he said.
Beginning their college careers together on Sunday were the Romaniello triplets of Waterbury, Connecticut. Their parents Glorie and Todd helped them move into their shared room at Sakac Hall.
Many of the new students are majoring in nursing, education and business.
