PIERMONT- Police in the Village
of Piermont are continuing to investigate a hit-and-run accident in which
a large white box truck struck a bicyclist causing serious injuries to
the individual.
The incident occurred around 10:23 a.m. on Saturday.
Police found the injured cyclist but no truck; it had left the scene
southbound on Route 9W. The accident occurred on Route 9W in the area
of 660 Route 9W at Broadway.
The cyclist was transported to Nyack Hospital by Piermont Fire Department
ambulance.
