CUDDEBACKVILLE – The bodies
of the two people who were washed away by the raging waters of the Neversink
River in Cuddebackville have been recovered.

Search crews from State Police and fire departments from Orange, Sullivan
and Pike counties scoured the river since they went missing on Saturday.
The 46-year-old father dove into the river when his nine-year-old son
and 16-year-old boy were spilled into the water from a raft. Another man
was able to swim to the older child and bring him to safety, but the other
man and his son were carried away by the current.

The search went on during the daylight hours for the last three days and
early Monday afternoon, both bodies were recovered.
