NEW CITY – A former Ramapo recreational director and distance swimmer was sentenced on Tuesday to seven years in state prison and 15 years of post-release supervision on his guilty plea to course of sexual conduct against a child.
David “Skip” Storch, 61, of New City, engaged in a course of frequent sexual conduct with a young girl at a location in South Nyack during a three-year period from August 2007 to December 2011. The abuse began when the victim was 10 years old.
Storch will also have to register as a sex offender.
“The defender has admitted to being a sexual predator who took advantage of an innocent child who trusted him,” said Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe. “For that reason alone, the prison sentence meted out by the county is more than warranted.”
