NEW WINDSOR – State Route 9W in the Town of New Windsor will be repaved in both directions from the Newburgh City line to the Moodna Creek.
Town Chief of Staff Colin Schmitt said Route 9W “is one of the most heavily traveled routes in our town and it was a priority to ensure the entire roadway within New Windsor be repaved.”
The work is expected to begin the week of August 27 and is expected to take 16 weekdays to complete, weather permitting.
Single lane closures will occur between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. with work on the northbound side occurring first, followed by the southbound.
