POUGHKEEPSIE – Eastdale
Village, the “pre-planned village” on Route 44 in the Town
of Poughkeepsie, has received Dutchess County Industrial Development Agency
final approval to receive a financial incentives package for the almost
$90 million project.
The IDA Board approved the three components of the resolution on Tuesday, said IDA Executive Director Sarah Lee.
“There were seeking a mortgage tax exemption, a sales tax exemption and an enhanced PILOT,” Lee said. “They have gotten the approval from the IDA and they will be seeing those benefits for the project.”
Eastdale Village, to be constructed in five phases, will include 390 units of apartments and 100,000 square feet of mixed commercial use space.
