POUGHKEEPSIE – The Dutchess
County Medical Examiner’s Office Thursday positively identified
the body pulled from the Hudson River on Tuesday as that of Paul Moschitta,
49, a Poughkeepsie city resident.

He had been missing since July 24 when he entered the river, wend under
and never resurfaced.

Several police agencies and the Coast Guard searched the waters for several
days before they suspended it last Sunday.

On this past Tuesday, boaters called 911 to report they had spotted a
body in the water. The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office launched
its marine unit and recovered it.
