The $750,000 makeover took just two months
VILLAGE OF WARWICK – The Howe Street Bridge in the Village of Warwick reopened following a $750,000 rehab of the structure.
The bridge was closed since May while the Orange County Public Works Department performing the design and construction.
The bridge spans the Wawayanda Creek and connects Howe and River Streets. The single-span bridge was initially built in 1939.
“This bridge provides safety and convenience for residents in the Village of Warwick and I’m glad that it was re-opened in a timely manner,” said County Executive Steven Neuhaus.
