Fire damages Cuddebackville house

Firefighters kept the flames mostly to the garage

CUDDEBACKVILLE – A two-alarm fire at 1620 Route 209 in Cuddebackville
Sunday evening damaged a home.
The call came in as smoke in the basement, but extensive fire damage was sustained to the attached garage and its contents. Smoke filled the house, as firefighters contained and extinguished the blaze.
No one was reported injured and the cause was not immediately known.
