YONKERS – Police are investigating the discovery of a man’s body Monday morning near Tuckahoe Road by the Thruway overpass. The man, who appeared to be in his mid-30s, had been shot several times, police said.
Police know the identity of the victim but are not releasing pending notification of relatives and continuation of the investigation.
Detectives from the Major Case Squad and Crime Scene Unit of Yonkers City Police are investigating the death, interviewing witnesses, canvassing for surveillance video, and processing forensic evidence.
