POUGHKEEPSIE – For a second
day in a row, Governor Cuomo was in the Hudson Valley telling local politicos
and supporters to “stand up and fight back” against the conservative
Trump Administration.

The governor, who was in Yonkers the day before he was in Poughkeepsie,
had the same message in both cities, that New York should codify Roe V.
Wade.

“I want to get it done before the Supreme Court does that because
I don’t want any gap in a woman’s right to protection and
we have a better legal case when the Supreme Court acts because I will
sue when the supreme Court acts and I want the New York State law in place,”
he said above a roaring cheer from his supporters.
At both events Cuomo signed his executive order mandating female birth
control methods for women regardless of their health insurance policy
including Medicaid.
