Four arrested in Columbia County warrant search

STOCKPORT – Four people were arrested by the Columba County Sheriff’s
Office following a warrant search in the Town of Stockport on Tuesday
night.

Also participating in the raid were the Columbia-Greene Shared Response
Team, State Police, Stockport Police and State Parole.

During the search, police seized 150 bags of heroin with an approximate
street value of $2,300. Also seized was a quantity of crack cocaine.

Thomas Confer, Jr., 35, of Stockport was charged with felony drug possession
and Meagan Svida, 33, of Stockport was charged with felony and misdemeanor
drug possession.

Confer was remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash
bail or $40,000 bond. Svida was remanded on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.

Charley Cintron, 39, also of Stockport, was charged on an outstanding
Columbia County Family Court warrant. Cintron was remanded in lieu of
$25,500 bail.

Roger Delease, Jr., 39, of Ancram, was charged with loitering. He was
released on an appearance ticket.

The investigation was initiated after police received several complaints
from the community about illegal activity. The arrests resulted following
a two-month-long investigation.
