TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – Police are investigating a suspicious death
that occurred between July 8 and 9 at the Marriot Residence Inn at 2525
South Road in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
The victim has been identified as Chrystel Yager, 38, of Poughkeepsie,
who rented a room at the hotel for one night.
Police said her family has been notified and is assisting in the investigation.
There is no reason to believe there is any danger to the general public,
according to police.
The Dutchess County Medical Examiner’s Office and State Police are
assisting in the investigation.
