RED HOOK – State Police from Rhinebeck arrested Christopher Struse, 32, of Red Hook, for two counts of criminal obstruction of breathing, and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors.
On the morning of July 2, police responded to a call from a Whalesback Road residence in the town of Red Hook. Investigation revealed Struse allegedly choked both the victim reporting the crime, and a child under the age of six.
Struse was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,500 bond.
