POUGHKEEPSIE – A 27-year-old man is in the intensive care unit
of MidHudson Regional Hospital following surgery for a gunshot wound.
Poughkeepsie City Police responded to a shooting in the area of 644 Main
Street shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 1 and learned that the
victim was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle with serious
injuries.
He underwent surgery and was listed in critical but stable condition.
