LEWISBORO – A 38-year-old
Sandy Hook, Connecticut man lost his life when the motorcycle he was riding
struck another vehicle on State Route 121 at the intersection of State
Route 138.
State Police at Somers said Daniel Thiel was killed when he struck a 2014
Acura MDX at 2:15 p.m. on June 29. He was ejected from the motorcycle
during the collision and pronounced dead at the scene by Westchester County
Paramedics.
Town of Lewisboro Police assisted at the scene. The cause of the crash
remains under investigation by troopers.
