Man charged with strangling domestic partner unconscious

LIVINGSTON – An Elizaville man was arrested by State Police on Tuesday on a felony charge of strangulation.
Troopers were called to a residence on Pine Tree Lane in Elizaville just before 1 a.m. for a domestic dispute and it was determined that during the dispute, Mark Pellegrino, 48, strangled the victim causing her to lose consciousness.
Pellegrino was sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond.
