Two charged with jailhouse drugs

POUGHKEEPSIE – A man who was visiting an inmate at the Dutchess County Jail, and the inmate, have both been charged with promoting prison contraband.
On June 15, Jeremy Craft, 28, of Hyde Park was an inmate at the jail
and was visited by Matthew Moore, 343, of Pine Plains when Moore was charged
with passing a controlled substance to Craft.
Moore was charged with promoting prison contraband and criminal sale of a controlled substance, both as felonies, and Craft was charged with promoting prison contraband and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both as misdemeanors.
Moore was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. Craft was released on an appearance ticket.
