POUGHKEEPSIE – A City of Poughkeepsie man was arrested on Wednesday, June 19 after the Dutchess County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in his residence at 86 Hudson Street and seized weapons, drugs and cash.
Emory Nesbitt, 49, was charged with possession of drugs, marijuana and criminal possession of an assault weapon, all as felonies. Investigators seized several rifles, assault weapons, a handgun, four ounces of cocaine, 15 pounds of marijuana and $2,000 in cash.
Nesbitt was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
Police expect more arrests to be made.
