BEACON – City detectives in Beacon charged a Cold Spring man with felony armed robbery following an incident at 426 Main Street that occurred around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12.
The victim and other witnesses were interviewed and the suspect, Kenneth Place, 27, of Cold Spring, was still on the scene. He later arrested, charged with the robbery and felony criminal possession of a weapon as well as menacing as a misdemeanor. The firearm was located by officers.
Place was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
