BEACON – A Beacon man is under arrest after he was identified as the suspect in a Liberty Street, Beacon purse snatching.
The incident occurred on June 10 at around 10 p.m. The victim described the perpetrator and officers located the man matching the description.
Bobby Jones III, of Washington Avenue Beacon, was charged by city police with felony robbery and a violation of unlawful possession of marijuana. He was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
