TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – A Millbrook man has been arrested by Town of Poughkeepsie Police on a felony charge of criminal contempt following an allegation that he verbally threatened to kill a person who had a family court order of protection against him.
Within a few hours of the complaint on Friday, June 1, the investigating officer contacted the man, Andrew Winstel, 32, and persuaded him to turn himself in.
Winstel surrendered a short time later, was charged, and committed to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
