KINGSTON – Abe Uchitelle, who was challenging fellow Democrat Kevin Cahill for his 103rd District State Assembly seat, has suspended his campaign. Both men reside in Kingston.
Uchitelle said “the best way” that he can contribute to the long term vision of “real reform” in Albany is to support “our amazing Senate candidates, including the four inspiring women whose potential victories in the four Senate districts which overlap the 103rd Assembly District could finally mean a Democrat-controlled State Senate.”
The 103rd district includes most of Ulster County and parts of Dutchess.
Uchitelle is a member of the board of Family of Woodstock and the Kingston Land Trust.
