Former Vassar College employee arrested for racking up over $6,000 in credit card expenses

POUGHKEEPSIE – A 34-year-old woman, who was employed by Vassar
College, has been arrested on a felony grand larceny charge for allegedly
making over $6,000 in unauthorized purchases on a college credit card.

Merlisha Celestin of Beacon was arrested by Town of Poughkeepsie Police
on Tuesday, May 22.

She was arraigned and released on her own recognizance pending a future
court appearance.
