POUGHKEEPSIE – A Beacon man was arrested on May 18 by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office for a February armed robbery of a Town of Fishkill gas station.
Eric Johnson, 25, allegedly robbed the clerk at the Gulf gas station on Route 9D in Fishkill of $300 late on February 26 while armed with a handgun. The weapon has not been found.
Johnson was charged with felony armed robbery and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by Beacon City Police.
