KINGSTON – State Police continue to investigate the 2007 murder of a mentally handicapped woman.
The body of Linda Holgerson, then 57, of Kingston, was found over an overgrown embankment at the end of a driveway off Route 21A belonging to vacant seasonal residences in Prattsville on November 4, 2007.
It was learned that Kingston Police were investigating her disappearance.
She was last seen at 4:15 p.m. on October 19, 2007 getting into a white or light-colored minivan on Van Dusen Street near the Bank of America. She was wearing a white puffy coat with a hood, light gray or white sweatpants and dark colored sneakers.
Holgerson was mentally handicapped and was not known to have any enemies. Friends said she would not have gotten into a vehicle with anyone she did not know.
