Poughkeepsie woman charged with endangering welfare of child

RHINEBECK – A staff member of the Astor Home for Children and Families in the Village of Rhinebeck was arrested on Tuesday on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child as a misdemeanor.
State Police said Samara Nesheiwat, 24, of Poughkeepsie, allegedly threw a child under the age of 13 to the ground. She was issued an appearance ticket to Rhinebeck Village Court.
