MONTICELLO – The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office has charged
a 54-year-old Loch Sheldrake man with the felony of making a terroristic
threat and the misdemeanor of aggravated harassment.

Sullivan Undersheriff Eric Chaboty said it is alleged that Patrick Martin
called the county Department of Family services and left a threatening
message on the agency’s voice mail because his food stamps had been
discontinued.

Martin was located at his residence and taken into custody last Thursday,
May 3.

Martin was arraigned and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu
of $2,500 bail. An order of protection was issued by the court.
