Three arrested in Monticello on drug charges

MONTICELLO – Village Police in Monticello have arrested three people
on drug charges following a vehicle stop.

Police stopped a car for a vehicle and traffic violation on Jefferson
Street driven by Josef Greeno, 29, of Monticello at 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday,
May 1. He was found to have a suspended driver’s license with 11
active suspensions.

Investigation led police to find Greeno and a passenger, Jessica Myers,
27, of Swan Lake, in possession of 240 glassine envelopes of heroin, Another
passenger, Elizabeth Lloyd, 37, of Monticello, was found in possession
of a small amount of crack cocaine and three glassine envelopes of heroin.

Greeno was charged with several felony and misdemeanor counts of drug
possession and aggravated operation of a motor vehicle.

Myers was charged with felony drug possession and Lloyd was charged with
misdemeanor drug possession.

Greeno was remanded to the Sullivan County Jail without bail. Myers was
committed on $25,000 bail and Lloyd was committed on $1,000 bail.

Monticello Police were assisted by Sullivan County Sheriff’s deputies.
