KINGSTON – An Ulster County
grand jury has indicted a Gardiner man on a charge of armed robbery for
allegedly holding up a clerk at the Valero gas station on Route 209 in
the Town of Wawarsing.
Brendan Darcy, 45, is charged with threatening an employee while possessing
what appeared to be a gun during the course of a robbery.
He stole money from the register before fleeing the convenience store.
The case was investigated by the State Police.
