Kingston man charged in Queens murder

NEW YORK – A Kingston man is one of five people arrested and charged in connection with a February 2 murder in Queens.
Oscar Antonio Blanco-Hernandez, 20, of Elizabeth, New Jersey was found in front of 85-14 160 Street at about 6:40 p.m. He had been shot in the head and groin and was pronounced dead at Queens General Hospital.
On March 14, New York City Police arrested Alexander Sierra, 19, of Queens after he was extradited from Maryland.
The investigation continued and on Tuesday, May 1, four others were arrested and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon. They included Yanki Cruz Mateo, 18, of Kingston, Carolina Morel Cruz, 24, and Jose Jimenez Chacon, 19, both of New Brunswick, New Jersey, and Saudi Levi Ramirez, 24, of Brooklyn.             
Police did not release a possible motive for the killing.
