Pedestrian fatality under investigation by Ulster Sheriff’s Office

PORT EWEN – The Ulster
County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal pedestrian accident
that occurred around 6 this evening.

Ulster County Sheriff Paul Van Blarcum confirmed the incident, which occurred
at 557 Broadway at Cross Street and Ulster Avenue.

Police radio communications indicated authorities were looking for a suspect
vehicle in Dutchess County; however, that could not be confirmed.
