TOWN OF WALLKILL – Republican US Senate candidate Chele Farley told party faithful in Orange County on Sunday that incumbent Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand does not have New York’s best interest at heart.
Farley, of New York City, who works in the financial field, said New York’s infrastructure is “in shambles.”
The political hopeful said Gillibrand, who is from Columbia County, has turned her back on her upstate roots. “When she was in the House, she was known as Annie Oakley. Now that she is in the Senate, she has turned into Jane Fonda.”
Farley said despite New York being a blue state, she is confident in the outcome of the election.
“Can we win? We will win as she has moved radically to the left
to appeal to national liberal activists and coalitions,” Farley
said. “After all, she voted for the Iran nuclear deal, which will
all but guarantee that Iran becomes a nuclear power in the relatively
near future. She has turned her back on Israel and supported efforts to
delegitimize Israel’s very existence and she has not supported the
president’s strong stand against both North Korean and Syrian aggression.
She has got to go.”
Farley said she is confident that she will raise the millions needed to finance a winning campaign.
