TOWN OF THOMPSON – A Thompsonville man is being held in the Sullivan County Jail without bail after he was caught walking out of a victim’s home at 695 Heiden Road in the Town of Thompson.
At about 6:10 p.m. on Wednesday, a Sullivan County Sheriff’s deputy found a window at the rear of the home was broken. He called for assistance and backup units arrived just as the suspect, later identified as Michael Carson, 33, was leaving the house.
Carson was taken into custody, but later fought with officers and had to be tasered. He was charged with burglary, criminal mischief and resisting arrest and is in jail.
