Man holds up Town of Poughkeepsie bank

TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – The TD Bank branch at 1850 South Road in
the Town of Poughkeepsie was robbed shortly before 9:30 this morning (Thursday)
and police are scouring the area looking for the suspect.

Town Police said a man handed a teller a note demanding money and indicating
he had a gun. No weapon was displayed. No injuries were reported.

The suspect fled the bank on foot and got into a dark colored late model
Acura.

The suspect is described as being white, about five-feet, eight- to nine-inches
tall, medium build, 20 to 30 years old, with blond or brown facial hair.
He was wearing a black winter cap, gray hooded sweatshirt, dark colored
sweat pants with red writing or an emblem vertically on the outer seam
area of the right leg, and white sneakers.
