ALBANY – The Town of Liberty will get $50,000 to upgrade and winterize bathroom facilities at Walnut Mountain Park.
The money, secured by State Senator John Bonacic, comes from the State and Municipal Facilities Program.
“Walnut Mountain Park provides our residents with a plethora of recreational activities as well as breathtaking views of the Catskills,” said Town Supervisor Brian Rourke. The grant will “help ensure that residents and visitors can continue to enjoy this park for years to come,” he said.
