KIAMESHA LAKE – A Bronx woman was arrested on Wednesday and charged with grand larceny in connection with the theft of over $7,000 from a guest at the Resorts World Catskills Casino.
State Police allege Andrea Mercer, 33, who was a guest at the casino, entered the room of another guest and stole the money from that person. Mercer sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $7,500 cash bail.
State Police at Wurtsboro and in Manhattan conducted the joint investigation.
