ALBANY – Seven victim assistance programs in the Mid-Hudson Valley will receive funding from the state to hire case managers who will streamline and improve services for crime victims and their families. Those case managers will connect individuals with direct assistance to help them recover, including counseling, advocacy and civil legal help, among other services.
The Center for Safety and Change will receive two grants totaling $59,036 for two case managers in New City.
Family Services will receive one grant totaling $514,800 for three case managers in Poughkeepsie.
Grace Smith House will receive one grant totaling $172,794 for one case manager in Poughkeepsie.
My Sister’s Place will receive one grant totaling $480,000 for two case managers in White Plains.
Orange County Probation Department will receive one grant for $480,000 for two case managers in Goshen.
Orange County Safe Homes Project will receive one grant totaling $167,500 for one case manager in Newburgh.
Putnam/Northern Westchester Women’s Resource Center will receive two grants totaling $458,820 for three case managers in Mahopac.
