BEACON – The man who was struck and killed by Metro-North commuter train just south of the Beacon train station late last week was identified as a Yonkers resident.
An MTA spokesman said Joseph Lanza, 38, apparently trespassed on MTA property and was struck by the train heading from Grand Central to Poughkeepsie.
