Connecticut man arrested on Thruway for drug possession

TOWN OF NEWBURGH – State Police arrested a New Haven, Connecticut
man on drug possession charges after he was stopped for an equipment violation
while driving on the Thruway in the Town of Newburgh Monday night.

Terrance Calhoun, 35, was arrested after a search of his vehicle revealed
over 18.6 grams of cocaine and just under 24 grams of marijuana.

He was charged with two counts of felony criminal possession of a controlled
substance, one with intent to sell.

Calhoun was also charged with misdemeanor drug possession, two counts
of criminal use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.
