Poughkeepsie man charged with drug possession

POUGHKEEPSIE – A City
of Poughkeepsie man has been charged with possession of crack cocaine
following a traffic stop on Maple Street Extension in the Town of Poughkeepsie.

Robert Johnson, Jr., 26, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped early in
the morning of March 30.

Town of Poughkeepsie Police found him in possession of crack cocaine and
charged him with two counts of drug possession.

He was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail
or $10,000 bond.
