Ulster single-family home sales dip

KINGSTON – Single-family home sales have declined in the first three
months of the year, according to the Ulster County Board of Realtors.

From January through March, sales dipped 2.6 percent, from 343 during
the period last year to 334 this year.

In March, home sales dropped 20 percent, going from 130 homes sold in
March 2017 to 104 this March.

Year-to-date, the average selling price was $274,715 this year compared
by $248,271in 2017.

Homes are selling faster so far this year with the average days on the
market at 132 compared to 137, according to the Realtors association.
